The MCBVI is a registered non profit organization in Michigan, with members of all ages who are sighted, blind, or visually impaired. We represent most geographic areas of the state and have a broad diversity of cultural and professional backgrounds. We welcome your participation in our active schedule of events, and hope you will join us in our important efforts.

Benefits Of Membership

A. annual subscription to the "MCBVI Newsletter," and "The Braille Forum" a monthly magazine provided on cassette in Braille, large print, or computer text files.

B. Full participation in annual statewide conferences and local chapter activities including information sharing, parties, picnics, field trips and athletic activities.

C. Participation with full voting rights in annual conventions of the Michigan affiliate, and American Council of the Blind.

Membership applications aren't formally complete until your information and payment is received. Checks or money orders should be made out to MCBVI. Send your annual dues of $10, and your membership information, which should include your name, address, phone number, email address if applicable and how you like to read publications, to :
